Plenary talks are allocated 25 min. plus 5 min. for discussions, parallel talks have 15 min. plus 5 min. for discussions.
All speakers are asked to upload their talks to the INDICO conference server by the end of the day before their presentation. Talks can be uploaded in ppt or pdf format (be mindful of proprietary fonts). It is in the responsibility of the speakers to stop by the speakers office and check that their presentation is displayed correctly on the conference computers (Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010) no later than one hour before the start of their session. Office staff will be happy to assist in resolving any technical issues.
The speakers office will be located in the room copernicium on the right hand side of the foyer when entering from the main entrance of the darmstadtium. It will open on Sunday, May 18, from 4 -7 pm with the conference check-in and remain open during the conference hours for the rest of the week.
Poster boards will be installed in the main lecture hall after the opening session on Monday, May 19. They will be ready for mounting the posters before the welcome reception on Monday evening, or during lunch and coffee breaks on Tuesday. The poster session starts at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, May 20.
Posters must also be uploaded to the INDICO conference server before the poster session in order to participate in the selection for flash talk presentations on Saturday, May 24, after the coffee break. From the uploaded ones, 8 posters will be selected for presentation as 5 min. flash talk (3 slides maximum).
All posters must be removed from the boards by the end of the morning coffee break at 11 am on Wednesday, May 21.
The standard poster format is A0 (33.11 in x 46.81 in), the maximum size is 42 inches (width) by 48 inches (height). Posters may be printed at several nearby copy shops, e.g.:
Prices for A0 printing vary, depending on the amount of coloring needed, generally between 15€ and 22€.
